Hartswood Weekend Protocols:

We have made the decision to allow supporters to attend weekend matches from May 8th.

At this stage we are adopting the same rules as the ECB – for all sports, which dictate that we are able to have 1 supporter per U18 player. Supporters are to have no interaction with the playing bubble at any stage during the match and at this stage we will have no supporter catering, though toilets will be available.

Social distancing measures and group size guidelines should be adhered to (6). We don’t want any staff nor parents to be put in a situation where they feel uncomfortable, so we hope that all supporters will respect our parameters and enjoy the return of competitive school sport. Supporter parking will be in Northfield only – the main car park will be kept clear for staff parking and coach pick up and drop off. *Parents cannot represent another child if they know their parents will not be present.

This adjustment is for weekend fixtures only, as midweek we have a greater mass movement of students and coaches that causes its own challenges. We will review this after half term.

It is my hope that this is another positive step towards Hartswood returning to both a fantastical playing and spectating venue and an opportunity for the community to come together.

We look forward to welcoming you on Saturday,
